Hardship Funding

For AMUSE members who are facing financial hardship.

What is Hardship Funding?

A portion of AMUSE budget is allocated yearly to provide support to members experiencing hardship e.g. a significant and unforeseeable loss of hours and/or pay, healthcare, house fire, legal support, etc. Based on the information provided, the Board of Representatives will vote to provide up to $800 in financial support per application.

Who is Eligible?

AMUSE members in good standing are eligible to apply for hardship funding. A member in good standing has submitted a membership form and pays dues to the union or have had their membership extended by the PSAC.

How to Apply

To apply, please send the completed hardship funding request form to our Treasurer, at treasurer@amusepsac.org Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Members can expect a response in approximately 1 week. Contact us if you have any questions about hardship funding or your request.
